I made Love-a-lot Bear, but you can use the same techniques to make other bears as well. This tutorial is broken down into four sections: tummy patch, ears, tail, and accessories.

To add the facial decorations to your costume, you can use make up or face paint. If you don’t have either of those laying around, you can use stickers. Just because you don’t have heart-shaped stickers, does not mean you can’t pull this off. Just take the excess edges of a sticker sheet, color a section the desired color, and cut out the shapes. I used a heart for the nose and three circles on each cheek.

Depending on how cold it is, you can add some leggings and/or socks to add some warmth to your costume. Luckily, I had a pair of pink-and-red-stripped Tenderheart socks that worked pretty well with my ensemble.

Add any other Care Bear themed items (mittens, jewelry, accessories) and you are ready to rock this Halloween.
