I really enjoy this series and the way it breaks down complex topics to introduce to young readers. This one focuses on the fluidity of gender and how nonbinary can mean different things to different people.
Includes information on the traditional gender binary, gender versus biological sex, and what to do if you make a mistake with someone’s pronouns or identity.
Nicely written with good personal anecdotes to explain different aspects.
As with the other books in the series, there is an intro and outro for adults with additional information and encouragement.
A great way to introduce the idea of nonbinary identities to cisgender children, nonbinary children, and children who are figuring it all out. A nice starting point.
