Penelope continues her journey to survive as the villain in Daughter of the Duke’s Super Love Project. In this volume she ventures out to find Eckles in an attempt to secure him as a love interest and learns more about the mysterious Winter.
An interesting story with gorgeously rich artwork. I enjoy how the gaming aspects are interwoven through the story and find the side quests especially interesting.
I didn’t love the plotline of Eckles as a slave and the power dynamics involved. Likewise, I find the changing relationship between Emily and Penelope interesting, but again the uneven power dynamics get in the way.
Overall, an interesting series. I’m enjoying seeing how Penelope adapts to her situation despite so many obstacles stacked against her.
