Absolutely adorable. So. Much. Blushing.
Follow the world of battle skating where figure skating and martial arts collide. Rookie Emile is trying to make a name for himself as a skater. Things are looking good for him until he’s matched up against his skating idol, Radu. When Emile discovers Radu’s secret, things really start heating up.
This was such a funny, sweet, adorable book. The concept of battle skating was fascinating. I don’t know much about figure skating, but it was cool to see the different skating elements and the characters putting together their routines.
I really enjoyed Radu and Emile’s dynamic. Those two are too cute. The amount of blushing any time they were in the same room was just perfect.
There were so many fun characters in this book. I am fascinated by every single one of them. Also love that there is a variety of queer rep.
The artwork is great. Colorful and engaging.
This volume includes a bonus story showing how Sal and Hana met, which was fun to read.
Can’t wait to see what happens next!
