Another one of those books it took me way too long to get around to reading, but I am so glad I finally did.
Such a sweet, simple story about being yourself and accepting others.
I loved the soothing artwork. Beautiful colors. I also love the diversity of the characters in terms of body size, age, and hair texture. Wonderful details all around, right down to the transformations of the endpapers.
Julián is absolutely fabulous (I mean, that poor plant that because his hairstyle, but still).
A wonderful story, simply told. It’s amazing how much feeling and emotion it exudes in so little words. Definitely a must-read.
