The most beautiful picture book I have ever read.
A gentle intergenerational tale of a family’s gifts of kindness, love, an appreciation of nature, and time spent together. They grow and build a community as large as the forest they’ve planted.
I checked this one out because I love Sanna’s artwork. I instantly fell in love with the touching story.
I absolutely adore this book. The story itself is wonderful. It touches on themes of family, love, growth, grief, community, and nature. The parallels between growing a forest and building a network of love and community was brilliant.
Sanna’s artwork is gorgeous. Wonderfully expressive with beautiful colors. I loved watching the family members spend time together, learn from one another, and share their love of nature.
An absolutely stunning book allaround. Definitely a new favorite.
