A wonderful resource for discussing what blended families are and what they can look like.
Includes information on some of the different forms blended families take, emotions that can occur as families come together, and some different aspects like figuring out what to call each other.
I loved the emphasis on families as a system of support and love regardless of the shape they take. Also notes the importance of extended family and community members as family.
Includes an intro and outro to help adults as they discuss the topic with children.
Nice visuals. I love the ways the shapes come together as a representation of blended families.
Reassuring and sweet. A fantastic resource for understanding some of the ways family structures can change but that families are there to love and support each other.
