Princess Beautiful is an internet sensation, beloved for her online cat videos. But when one of her videos is altered for nefarious purposes, Princess must go on the run and try to prove her innocence.
As a cat-lover, I was really looking forward to following this series of Bad Guys-style hijinks and adventures, but I was left pretty disappointed. The story was okay. It’s definitely fast-paced and filled with shenanigans. There are some nice humorous moments. But we don’t get much of an intro to the character before the plot takes off at lightning speed. Because of that, I just wasn’t invested in Princess or what happened to her.
I didn’t find this as engaging as The Bad Guys: Episode 1 series. Same fun art style, which worked well in the story.
Sets up the next book well with a cliffhanger and some mysterious circumstances. Not sure I’ll continue this series though. It was short and quick-paced, but I didn’t find it all that interesting.
