Join Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle as they work to protect their new friends, the mysterious Livewood, and all of Ponyville. But no matter what they do, everything seems to go wrong around them. Could they be cursed? And if so, how do they break it?
The fifth book in the series really leans in to the larger story of protecting the Livewood and encounters with Auntie Eclipse and the Moon family. We get some big reveals in this one. As the overarching story becomes more prevalent, the books are less episodic. I do kind of miss the little mysteries in each book, but the overall story is very interesting and engaging.
I’ve definitely enjoyed various side characters getting involved in this series. Discord makes an appearance in this one and is his characteristically fascinating self. Love the humor and fourth wall breaks.
Wonderfully-written. Really enjoying where this series is going. Can’t wait to read the next book.
