The party continues their decent into the dungeon to rescue Falin. Along the way they encounter golems, orcs, treasure insects, ghosts, living pictures, mimics, and a kelpie.
This series is growing on me a little. Laois still weirds me out and I didn’t particularly like the kelpie chapter in this one. But the treasure insect and golem sections were interesting and the living pictures section gives us a little insight into the Golden Castle. Would love to learn more about the mysterious castle and its past.
Nice artwork. Okay story. It’s still a bit slow. Poor Falin is slowly being digested while the party gives in to Laois’ desires to eat every monster they come across.
