The second volume takes Kilala under the sea. She and Rei are separated and she must journey through the ocean with the help of some new friends to find him.
Another fun fast-paced adventure. Adorable artwork. I’m really enjoying getting new storylines with Disney princesses and villains.
I still think the love interest part is weird but it does mesh with the classic Disney princess vibe and shojo in general. Her falling in love with Rei just feels so sudden to me and romance isn’t really my thing.
Still, a fun adventure. It’s a nice quick read. Sets up the next book well. Will be continuing this series.
