I honestly had no idea what to expect going into this, but I absolutely loved it. All the stars for this one!
The last thing the anxious Garlic wants is adventure. She is content hanging out with her friend Carrot and tending to her garden. But when a vampire arrives at a nearby castle, Garlic is sent to take care of the problem before he attacks any of the villagers.
Adorable artwork. Fantastic characters. What a sweet story. I never thought I would feel so strongly about anthropomorphic vegetables.
Love the messages about not making assumptions, facing your fears, open communication, and community. This book is so adorable. Cozy, humorous, and sweet.
Excited that this is a series and really looking forward to another adventure with Garlic and her friends.
