Adorable and hilarious.

To the outside world, Umaru is the perfect high school student: talented, smart, and kind. But at home, she’s a completely different person. Around her brother, she’s lazy, slovenly, and addicted to manga and video games. Taihei does his best to keep up with her antics, but he’s no match for her utter cuteness.

Such a fun and cozy read. I really enjoyed the anime and am glad I got a chance to read the manga.

Honestly, I find Umaru so relatable: having to keep up appearances in public then being able to let it all go once you get home. Though she’s spoiled and self-centered, Umaru is just a little sister who loves annoying her big brother.

The artwork is adorable and humorous. I love Umaru’s alter ego.

An easygoing slice-of-life read with plenty of laughs.
