The worlds of fantasy, the paranormal, and the apocalyptic collide in this graphic novel about a zombie outbreak and the team of unicorns that sets out to save what remains of humanity.
This is definitely different than I was expecting. I thought it would take a more humorous approach, but the story dives into some dark elements including famine, plague, and questions of morality. As one would except from a zombie story, there is violence, complete with rainbow unicorn blood, and death.
The artwork is really cool. A nice blending of magical and apocalyptic elements. I am especially fascinated by the zombie versions of different mythical creatures.
A unique story with some really interesting elements at play. There’s a lot going on here, which makes for an engaging read.
I’m looking forward to the next volume. Interested to see what happens next.
