As Misty tries to navigate her new life in Maretime Bay, she stumbles across a unique board game called Maretime Mysteries. It seems like the perfect way to learn about her new home. That is, until the game releases a curse upon the town. Now it’s up to Misty and her friends to solve the mystery and break the curse.
I really liked the idea of the story. It started off well, but kind of peters out by the end. Everything wraps up pretty quickly. The story is more of a scavenger hunt than a mystery. I didn’t fully understand the elements of the curse and parts of it seemed glossed over.
I did enjoy the artwork. Humorous and engaging.
Okay read overall. I liked the idea but the execution didn’t really work for me.
