Embark on a tour of Grimstone Hall and learn of the ghosts who reside there in this wonderfully creepy collection of ghost stories.
The finalists of a ghost story writing competition visit the most haunted house in England where all the ghosts are children. But Jake can’t shake the feeling that there is something wrong on the tour. Shadows flick by that no one else seems to see and the tour guide is acting suspiciously. Is there more to the manor than meets the eye?
A wonderful collection of ghost stories with a nice variety of tones, from sorrowful to tragic to downright creepy. I really enjoy Priestley’s use of writing competitions as frame stories to tie short story collection together.
Part of the Everyone Can Be a Reader series, which uses dyslexia-friendly fonts, paper tones, and formatting.
A wonderfully creepy book of murder, tragic accidents, and the supernatural.
