Hilarious, adorable, and sweet.
As war rages between fairies and humans outside the castle walls, Lucia spends her days as lady-in-waiting (and best friend) to Princess Kirsi. After being introduced to a magical suit of armor at a royal tournament, Lucia is swept up in magic, danger, and a budding romance, all while keeping a deadly secret.
I don’t normally like romance stories all that much, but this was absolutely adorable. Slow-burn with some really sweet interactions.
An engaging story with a great balance of drama, humor, and romance, and a really fun cast of characters. Nice themes of kindness, empathy, making connections, and being yourself.
Includes a bonus chapter of Peres and Baynard’s first meeting as well as character designs and concept art.
Such a fun read. I did not want to put this one down. Really looking forward to reading the next volumes.
