A bittersweet ending to a beautiful series. After learning how he was cursed and where Shiva came from, Teacher grapples with a difficult decision: keep his soul and retain his memories or give it up in the hope of reuniting with Shiva.

This was such a satisfying ending in its own way. All the questions aren’t answered and there is a lot of ambiguity at the end. But I enjoyed the themes of acceptance, forgiveness, and enjoying the time you have.

Wonderful artwork as always. I particularly enjoyed the visuals of Teacher’s memories as he reflects on his time after being cursed.

I’ve really enjoyed this series. Through the hopeful times, the dark times, the confusing, the sorrowful, and the soothing, this has been such an interesting journey.

A truly beautiful series. While I’d love for all the remaining questions to be answered, this ending does feel right for the series.
