A stunning graphic novel with fantastic imagery and wonderful messages.
Nina lives in a place where there are no Sundays. Six hungry wolves keep the townspeople working every day with no rest. Finally, Nina has had enough. She sets out to rescue the lost Sunday from the witch who stole it long ago. She’ll face the unexpected with plenty of trials along the way, but all her hard work may just pay off.
A wonderfully-constructed modernized fairy tale. I loved the classic fairy tale elements woven into the story. It’s a fun combination of some popular fairy tale scenarios from a witch’s clever tests to being rewarded for helping others.
The artwork is stunning. It makes for a truly magical reading experience. I absolutely love the different wolves.
Lovely messaging about the power of hard work, the importance of rest, and maintaining a work-life balance.
I really enjoyed this book. Such an interesting story with a fascinating cast of characters, great messaging, and fantastic art.
