It’s the zombie apocalypse and there’s danger around every corner. Follow Yuki, a charismatic and resourceful cat, as he navigates this new world, dodging zombies, meeting other survivors, and making a place for himself.

Was definitely intrigued by the concept of this story, but was a little hesitant because I don’t like anything bad happening to cats. See spoiler at the end of this review if you want to know what you’re getting into ahead of time.

An action-packed story with plenty of twists and turns. Adventure, suspense, and bits of humor throughout. Includes abuse and violence with human and zombie foes alike.

I loved the little cat moments interwoven in the zombie story. Lap sitting, scritches, stealing treats, and always resting in the most inconvenient spots add some heartwarming moments to an otherwise dark, intense world. It was also so sweet how Yuki helps his humans. I loved seeing how well he adapted to the new world.

Great artwork that perfectly combines the horror of the zombie apocalypse with the cuteness of cats.

A nice story of survival. A great fit for fans of zombies and cats who didn’t know they needed a story that combines the two.

Spoiler: No cats die in this series. There are close calls and some intense moments, but the cats are not seriously injured and they all survive. Yuki does get separated from multiple “owners” throughout the series.
