Magnetic Baking Sheet Board

When I graduated from college, I started collecting magnets from the places I went. Then I bought a house, which came with a stainless steel refrigerator… which is not magnetic. Sad day for me. Luckily, I was planning on buying new baking sheets and decieded to upcycle my old ones.

Supplies:

  • Baking sheet
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Decorative paper (magazines, calendar pagers, wrapping paper, whatever floats your boat)
  • Scissors
  • Modge Podge
  1. Paint over the baking sheet. This step is optional, but very usefully if your baking sheets are miscolored or have any burnt pieces on them.
  2. Cut out some paper and cover as much of the sheet as you want to. Again, this hides miscoloration and ugly spots on old baking sheets.
  3. Add another layer of Modge Podge over the paper.

And there you have it. Ready to hold your magnets.
