A foundling human taken in by spirits, a young exorcist who is the natural enemy of her world, and a bookshop that caters to the spirit realm. A really fun world to dive into. I loved meeting all of the different spirits and learning about the dynamics between them.
The book consists of various adventures that fit into a larger story. There are intermissions and side stories throughout following different characters. I enjoyed the slice-of-life setup within the overarching plot of Suimei searching for his lost companion.
Weird, heartwarming, and delightful. Definitely want to continue this series.
