Narrated by Elizabeth Wiley

Lottie Jones spends her days gossiping at church bingo, cooking with her friends, and buying presents for her grandchildren. What she does not want is for her past as a serial killer to interfere with her new life. Though she hasn’t killed in years, a meeting with an investigative journalist making a docuseries about her wrongful accusal might just be what brings her out of retirement.

I don’t read a lot of mystery/thriller/suspense books and I certainly don’t read a lot about serial killers, but I am so glad I took a chance on this one. The book has such a fun sense of humor. Despite the dark subject matter, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Nicely written and fiercely entertaining. I loved Lottie’s character. Clever, active, and always one step ahead, we can all only hope to age as well as she has.

The audio narration was fantastic. Wiley really brought Lottie’s character to life.

A really great read and a wonderful listen. Suspenseful, dark, and humorous. I really enjoyed this one.
