A wonderful exploration of pollination. A simple journey from plants to insects to birds and back again that shows how different plants are pollinated and the important role insects and animals play in growing good.
Absolutely gorgeous illustrations. I actually picked this book up because I really enjoy Sanna’s art style.
The die cuts were a really fun way to follow the chain of events through pollination.
At the back of the book is more information about pollination and the different ways plants are pollinated. There is also an explanation of each step shown in the book, traveling from bee to strawberry to Black Swallowtail and so on. A great way to learn about different plants and insects and how they interact with one another. There is also a simple list of ways to help pollinators.
A gorgeous book that perfectly balances a simplistic presentation with engaging elements and information.
