An adorable picture book about a young scientist who never stops asking questions.

Obviously I loved the focus on a girl interested in a STEM field, but I also kind of liked that she’s a bit of a trouble maker. She definitely makes mistakes and gets a bit caught up in her questions. But it’s nice to see girls not having to focus on being well-behaved all the time. She wasn’t naughty on purpose. She’s just naturally curious and doesn’t let herself miss out on learning opportunities because it might inconvenience someone else. I think that is a really big takeaway and an important lesson.

Fun illustrations. It’s always fun to see past Questioneers in the artwork. Wasn’t a huge fan of including an attempt to put the cat in the dryer but I suppose it shows there are boundaries to scientific experimentation and testing hypotheses.

Such a fun series and a great jumping off point for learning about famous women in history and engaging with STEM fields.
