A sweet story of creativity, collaboration, perseverance, and creative problem solving.

Ali loves performing. With a little inspiration, she decides to put on a show with her friends and family at the beach. But when a big storm rolls in and washes away the sets, the cast will have to pivot. After all, the show must go on.

Such a cute story. Great messages about making your dreams happen, creativity, problem solving, working together, and adapting to the situation.

I also love that the story didn’t center around Ali using a wheelchair. It’s just an accepted part of her life. Ali is not reduced to her disability and the story showcases her ability to overcome unforeseen circumstances to create something amazing with her friends.

Adorable artwork. I especially loved seeing how supportive Ali’s dad is and how proud he is watching her perform. The disability representation goes beyond Ali’s wheelchair use to include various community members’ use of wheelchairs, leg braces, and posterior walkers.

A wonderful, feel-good story showcasing a love of theater and the beauty of working together to create something spectacular.
