Another brilliantly gorgeous work from Kibuishi.
As always, the art is perfect. Love the colors, the details. Each page is breathtaking.
More details are slowly revealed in regards to the overarching plot with new characters and new battles. At this point, there is quite an extensive cast of characters, which I will say is slightly overwhelming. There is a lot going on by book 6 with many side plots and people to keep track of. I still really enjoyed it but it was a little difficult to keep all the details in mind given it’s been a bit since I read book 5. Once I get ahold of the physical books, I’m hoping to read them back-to-back for the full experience.
The artwork and creativity of these books alone is admirable. A great series overall. Really interested to see what direction it takes next.
