A delightful adventure that takes the reader through the Frightful Forest, the Sea of Secrets, and the Peaks of Peril in search of monsters. Bo wants to go on a monster hunt, but her brothers tell her she is too little. She sets out to prove them wrong and makes some discoveries of her own.

I loved the way Woollvin flipped the script in this one. At first Bo thinks being brave means catching monsters, but by the end she demonstrates her bravery by standing up for others, even if that means disagreeing with family.

Absolutely beautiful illustrations. I loved the color pallet. There are splendid details throughout and I especially enjoyed the updated map on the back endpaper.

A wonderful story that focuses on actions over appearances, and serves as a beautiful reminder to stand up to the monsters in our lives.
