This is pretty much what you’d expect it to be, a collection of Disney princesses and characteristics that go along with them. From the text, it is assumed that if you want to be a princess, you have to have these traits. It works for most of them: kind, polite, brave, and smart. But others I don’t think are a necessity: a dreamer, ready for fun, loves to sing and dance. It’s okay to be or like those things but I don’t think they are necessary for life. You don’t have to try to fit those standards in the same way you try to be smart, kind, or brave.

Nice pictures featuring many Disney princesses and scenarios that exemplar their featured traits.

This is a Step 1 book for preschoolers and kindergartners and uses a lot of repetition for beginning readers.
