An absolutely adorable picture book from the creator of What’s Up, Beanie?: Acutely Relatable Comics. What a fun read. Perfect for reading aloud.

Emi isn’t scared of monsters. In fact, she’s setting a trap to catch one. But when her beloved pup, Cookie, doesn’t follow the plan, her bravery is tested as she ventures into the darkness where the monsters (possibly) lurk.

Such a cute story with wonderful illustrations. I loved the flashlight elements and the little twist at the end. Great, engaging pictures that allow for spotting monsters in the dark.

A wonderful read. Works well for those who enjoy What’s Up, Beanie? and want to share Tysoe’s style with a younger crowd. Even if you’re unfamiliar with Tysoe’s work, this is a great fit for any monster hunter and lover of all things cute.
