A delicious book recounting the tale of a girl trying different foods (even though pizza is the best!) for the sake of science. Perfect for pizza lovers of all ages and a good reminder about how fun (and delectable!) it can be to try new foods.

Gianna Ruggiero‘s illustrations are just the right amount of busy and mouthwatering. You know they’re good when you can smell the dish pictured and instantly start craving it. I also loved all the pizza-math strewn throughout the pages.

A great array of dishes are included in this fun story. Their pronunciations are also included for those who may be unfamiliar with the dish. Great way to learn about different food combinations and cooking techniques. I also enjoyed the idea of different versions of “best” depending on the situation and mood.

Includes Pipo’s pizza recipe at the end which was a nice addition to the book. Such a great story with a lovely message and mouthwatering illustrations.
