Another entertaining volume in the Food Wars series. In this one, we learn more about how Totsuki works, specifically the shokugeki and the Council of Ten.

As always, the food looks amazing. I love when they go into detail on how a dish was prepared and why it works. There are more recipes in this volume, which was nice, including Tadokoro’s rice balls and the chaliapin steak bowl.

Decent amount of fan service. There are a few more upskirt shots and other sexualized non-food-ecstasy shots compared to the first volume. Not really my thing, but I do love the story.

Overall, a good read. Entertaining and fun for food lovers.
