Another fun tale featuring Ganesha and Mr. Mouse.
In this one, Ganesha and his brother, Kartikeya, find a magical mango that cannot be shared. They decide to race around the world three times to determine who should get the mango. Kartikeya sets off on the journey right away, but Ganesha is sure there is an easier way to win. He sets his creative mind to the task of winning the mango without breaking a sweat.
A sweet story about creative thinking, determination, and overcoming obstacles and doubts.
The artwork is gorgeous. I really enjoy Patel’s art style. The visuals for the characters are really cute and I loved getting to know Ganesha’s family in this one.
Includes an Authors’ Note at the end about the original legend and the changes made for this adaptation.
A great read and a fun way to explore Hindu legends and mythology.
