One of the sweetest picture books I’ve ever read. When Milly discovers her Grandad’s Pride flag in the attic, she comes up with a plan to bring the Pride celebration to his small seaside town. The townspeople band together to create a celebration of love, diversity, and being yourself.

A delightful read. Beautiful illustrations that showcase the diversity of the town. This is a nice, positive representation of support and community. It includes plenty of background details to start conversations with children such as marriage equality, trans rights, nonbinary identities, intersectionality, activism, drag shows, and different representations of families.

Such a wonderful read. Great positivity. Fantastic illustrations and a heartfelt message of inclusion and acceptance.
