Such a cool concept which worked beautifully in this format. A fascinating look at connection, possession, and trying to live up to other’s expectations. In a bout of frustrated, Flo throws away her ice skates. Doing so creates a powerful junkwraith, set of attacking her memories. To break the curse, Flo ventures into the wastelands and must face the unknown… and herself.
Flo’s adventures lead the reader through dangerous environments, mysterious experiments, new and developing relationships, and her own inner demons. The artwork of this book really makes it stand out. Loved the icy coloration and sci-fi setting. The story itself kept me guessing. What a fun ride.
