A good Level 1 non-fiction book. This is a very simple book, good for kids learning to read.

The book introduces Margaret Hamilton, Nancy Grace Roman, Mae Jemison, and Sally Ride. There is a section on each woman with a very short and simple description of her job and how she helped NASA. There is really not very much information on any of the women in this book. It is very, very basic. But it’s a good introduction to these phenomenal women’s names and jobs that is simple enough for young readers.

There is also a Lego diagram of a space shuttle and a simple demonstration of a space shuttle taking off.

The Lego format makes it fun and engaging for kids.

Overall, this was good, but the information if very basic.
