Absolutely gorgeous.
A spectacular picture books inspired by the real-life Urban Art Trail in San Diego. An art-loving child does her best to bring color to her neighbors by sharing her art. But it isn’t until she teams up with a muralist inspired by her work that she learns how to bring the community together to completely change their neighborhood.
Such a wonderful story. Lovely themes of art, creativity, community, and working together. Nicely told.
The artwork is stunning. Beautiful colors, motion, and vibrancy. Perfectly captures a community coming together to dance, create, and express joy together. It is so cool that the book is illustrated by Rafael López, the muralist behind the Urban Art Trail.
Includes a Note from the Authors at the end about the San Diego Urban Art Trail, the husband-and-wife team behind the project, and how it inspired other communities.
Such a wonderful, feel-good read to inspire young readers to share their art to brighten the world.
