A nice book that introduces the new students of Twilight Sparkle’s School of Friendship. This is a Passport to Reading level 1 book, which utilizes short sentences and simple stories for beginning readers. While this book is not a plot-based story, it serves as a nice introduction to some of the new characters in the show. I’ll admit, I am a bit behind on My Little Pony (the downside to only having Netflix) so this was a nice way to learn about the new direction of the show and some of the new characters. Nice, colorful pictures. Overall, I enjoyed the book. Great for MLP fans looking for a beginning reader.
