A stunning picture book that shows how Ramadan is celebrated all around the world. Follow Moon through her different phases as she watches people fast, gather for Iftar, do kind acts, collect for charity, pray, and come together. From Indonesia to the UK to Somalia to Argentina to the US, Khan Kazi beautifully shows various aspects of Ramadan, Chaand Raat, and Eid al-Fitr.

Lovely illustrations and poetic language. This is such a gorgeous book. I loved the emphasis on global celebrations and how people of different faiths and cultures came together to celebrate.

Includes additional resources at the back of the book including a breakdown of the phases of the moon, information about the lunar cycle, and a glossary of terms. There are also illustrations of various decorations, symbols, foods, and items associated with Ramadan.

Perfect for celebrating and learning about Ramadan, showing different communities coming together, and demonstrating kindness and good deeds. This is such a sweet book.
