A really fun concept. I recommend reading after having watched My Little Pony: The Movie (1986). This graphic novel features Reeka and Draggle’s own daughters and their plot for revenge against the pony world. They set their sights on Equestria and come up with a plan to create chaos for the ponies by securing their Smooze-infused creations, the S’Monies, positions at the School of Friendship.
An interesting twist on the My Little Pony world. Felt a bit weird to have humans in the Friendship is Magic universe, but it was cool to see the mashup of Gen 1 and Gen 4.
I did find this one really wordy and heavy of the dialogue. Because of that, the story dragged a bit. The Gen 1 ponies don’t have a huge role in the story overall.
I really enjoyed the artwork. I especially loved Grackle and Dyre’s character designs.
It was a fun read overall, but I think I liked the idea more than the execution.
