A fun collection of new stories featuring characters from Gen 4 and Gen 5. Nice variety in the stories including a story from Princess Cadance’s past, best friends going on an adventure while one does her best to keep a secret, Cloudpuff going missing, and the Gen 5 Mane 6 investigating the disappearance of a famous stunt flyer.
“The Rise of Cadance” was my favorite story in this collection. I enjoyed getting some backstory on Cadance and how she became a princess. I also really liked the art style.
“Case of the Missing Puff” was also a fun little mystery with some great chase scenes. And I loved the inclusion of junk journaling as a creative outlet.
A nice combo of mystery, adventure, friendship, and action with nice themes of honesty, empathy, and open communication.
A good read overall for fans on Gen 5.
