A young child is having a hard time getting her thoughts to quiet down at bedtime. On her mother’s suggestion, she fills up on happy thoughts to help her fears and worries fly away.

A nice visual for talking about worries and anxiety. The book presents the idea of thoughts flying or nesting to act as a helpful aid for little ones to dislodge their worries and fears to make room for happy thoughts. The visual helps make something very abstract more understandable. I loved the idea of letting happy thoughts nest and worries fly away.

Beautiful, calming illustrations. Lyrical, reassuring text. A beautiful read.
