With the arrival of a new pony in Ponyville, mysterious things start happening. The Cutie Mark Crusaders are on it, investigating the strange events and how the new pony is connected to it all.
I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I absolutely love the show and this book delivers on everything I enjoy about it. The writing meshes well and the characters’ personalities shine. This is a great tie-in series.
The story itself was really fun. It has a bit of a creepy element to it along with some nice lessons about helping others and open communication. The story is a self-contained adventure with a hint that something bigger is going on.
Can’t wait to read the next book. These are great for fans of Friendship is Magic. It even includes a pony-ifed author bio.
