A good continuation of the All the Wrong Questions series. This is a great series for fans of Snicket’s dark, unfortunate style. I highly recommend reading the series in order. There is enough backtracking and explanation that you could read them out of order, but it will make more sense if you read them chronologically.

The third book picks up where the second book left off and continues the mystery of Hangfire and his devious plot.

I listened to the audiobook version and enjoyed Liam Aiken’s narration (yay, Original Klaus!), but to my knowledge, there was no PDF included with the illustrations as was done with the other books. This was kind of a letdown, because I do enjoy Seth’s artwork.

Overall, an entertaining read that furthers the mystery and develops Snicket’s character.
