5 stars

Another unsettling exploration of truths revealed through a complex web of diary entries, interviews, magazine articles, and floorplans.

After the popularity of Strange Houses within the novel, the author receives a variety of additional cases related to unique floorplans, strange renovations, and odd buildings. As he explores the stories, he begins to see connects between them, revealing dark truths long forgotten.

Great follow-up to the first book. I love the change in format. In this one, the author introduces us to 11 files and allows space for the reader to come up with their own theories on how they are all connected. The final chapter brings everything together and allows the reader to test their ideas.

Strange, creepy, and unsettling. The story brings together some dark topics, uncovering greed, corruption, infidelity, murder, and more.

A fascinating read with a great format and excellent pacing.
