Another fun book in the Ponyville Mysteries series. With the help of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Lilymoon is doing her best to make friends at school. When a Timberwolf starts causing chaos in Ponyville, the four ponies must solve the mystery before it’s too late.
The second book in the series focuses on Sweetie Belle facing her fears. A nice, supernatural mystery. Well-written and entertaining. As with the first one, the characters are spot on. I loved getting more My Little Pony adventures.
This book briefly summarizes the main events from the first book so they don’t necessarily have to be read in order. Though the first book is also a lot of fun and worth the read.
The majority of the story is wrapped up at the end and builds onto the larger events at play in the series. Nice themes of listening to others, facing your fears, and helping others, even when it’s scary.
Perfect for fans of Friendship is Magic. Will definitely continue this series.
