Okay read. I haven’t really watched the Teen Titans Go! show. I have seen bits and pieces in passing while at work (I do in-home therapy with children), but never watched a whole episode through. I don’t think it’s my kind of humor. This book is probably good for fans of the show. I thought it was kind of lengthy and text-heavy. Pictures were fine, but appeared to just be taken directly from the show. Pretty violent (Starfire punching Beast Boy’s head through the window for a Slug Bug) and not very good message about how to treat others (playing a trick on H.I.V.E. Five when they were in trouble). I know both of these are pretty prevalent in the show. As I said, okay book, but not really my style of humor. |
