I enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series. The first one wasn’t bad, it was just a bit slow to start. This one moves a bit quicker because there isn’t as much of that pesky world-building stuff going on. I really enjoyed this one.
Well-written. Some things were predictable, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Great character development. I enjoyed the characters’ changing roles (especially Jasper’s). And as always, Havoc is adorable.
Awesome fantasy adventure story. I have already requested the next book in the series from the library. I can’t wait to read it.
