An engaging, rhyming story about a tired farmer and the hunt for her favorite pajamas.
The farmer has plenty to do around the farm. She milks the cow, waters the garden, and puts all the animals to bed. But when she can’t find her favorite pair of pajamas, she just can’t seem to fall asleep. As she gets more and more tired, her routine is thrown off with humorous results. Finally, the animals have had enough and set out to find her pajamas.
A fun read-aloud. Nice rhythm throughout and great humor.
The illustrations are fun and engaging with good details.
Also works well for reviewing animal sounds and pointing out what’s wrong in the pictures.
