A magical adventure with subtle themes of empathy and listening to friends, and the benefits of bees. Anna convinces her hesitant friend, Tess, to help her plant flowers so the bees will have food. They fall asleep waiting for the flowers to grow and wake to find they’ve been shrunk. Together, they embark on a magical journey, lead by their new gnome friend, May.
A nice beginner graphic novel, heavy on the illustrations with simple text. The artwork is gorgeous. It really delivers on the magic and wonder of the story.
Loved the message of really listening to your friends and not pressuring them when they feel uncomfortable.
